The second Book in the Stephanie Plum Mystery series, I found that I enjoyed this book more than the first one.  Stephanie is determined not to give up her job as a bounty hunter. This time she is on the hunt for Kenny Mancuso, a supposedly easy retrieval for her.  She soon finds out that Kenny Mancuso is no good and VERY unstable. She ends up teaming up with Joe Morelli, the cop that she helped prove was innocent in the last book. Their relationship is a love/hate one. She LOVES to hate him.
By Chance due to her crazy Grandma Mazur's obsession with funerals, Plum is offered a job to find 24 miss coffins. But it comes to Plum's attention that the man she was already looking for might be involved with the coffins and just so happens to be related to Joe Morelli.
I really feel that Grand Mazur stole the show in this book. Almost all the scenes she was on, had you laughing so hard you had tears.  For instance how she follows the obituaries in the newspapers like no one's business. It's like a weird form of entertainment for her.  There is a part in the book where someone mails Stephanie a Penis in a box. Yes you heard me correctly. A penis in a box. Grandma Mazur happens to have a comment  about it not being a Jewish penis. You have to read the book to learn more about it but it had me rolling.
Throughout the book Grandma Mazur and Stephanie find themselves in a threatening situation and it was interesting to find out what criminals were involved in the scheme of it besides Kenny Mancuso.

All in all it was a very enjoyable read.
