mercy

Mercy (Mercy, #1)Mercy by Rebecca Lim
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Well this was one of those books that was interesting enought to make me read it in a couple of days... even though... its not my type of book...

We start off with Mercy waking up in a stranger's body. She doesnt know where she is or who she is and knows that this has happened before. She does not know why this happens and doesnt remember all the time who or what she was before, just bits and pieces.

This time is finds out that she is in the body of a 16 year old name Carmen on a bus traveling to another school with children. Mercy always has to adapt to the situation and think quick on her feet without alerting everyone that something is wrong with Carmen.

They end up in a town called paradise. Mercy is met by her host family by the name of Daley. In the next 24 hours Mercy finds out that Carmen is the star soloist for a childrens choir. and that the family she is staying with also had a daughter her age named lauren who was the star soloist for their town but disappeared a couple of years.

Everyone believes that Lauren is dead, except her twin brother Ryan. Ryan is convinced she is still alive. Mercy knows that she has been sent here for a purpose, a purpose to help ryan find lauren?

The combination of murder mystery and paranormal was great and the identity of the kidnapper wasn't revealed until the very very end. I had no idea who it was and I read CRIME novel all the time!!!

Very fun and you wont be dissapointed with it.
