I was very excited when my copy of the book came. I could not wait to get started! I love funny memoir's especially from an SNL actor….! This book was like Tina Fey's book bossy pants but BETTER!
It was fun, easy, enjoyable read about Ms. Sweeney's life. Her story was wonderful, I felt like I was sitting next to her while she was telling me about her family, her life. I would get so wrapped up in this book that I would have to remind myself that I had to go to work in the morning and I do need like 3 hours of sleep!
I loved reading about her adoption from China. There was a part in the book where Ms. Sweeney and her daughter were at a park playing and a women came up to her and asked "is the father Chinese?" LOL well obviously!
The story of meeting her husband was truly the best! I actually re-read that part because I was like really? From a fan letter? :)
If you have a vacation planned pick this up for a great beach read or a read for the air plane. You will not be disappointed!
