GOOD GOD I LOVED THIS BOOK

Foster homes and adoption in a teenage novel is something very difficult to read about, but this author definitely wrote it just about perfectly.
Andy was handed nothing but bad cards in life, it started with her mother. Instead of loving her she blamed Andy for all her problems. From then on things only got worse and worse for her.

The story is told through flashbacks to past events in Andy’s life, sharing her experiences and hardships with the audience. Throwaway girl tackles a number of difficult subjects such as abuse, loss and rape. I was expecting this book to have me in tears but I felt the character of Andy is written in a way where she is very detached from her feelings and when we are hearing about all the horrific things she has been through.
I loved how there was a happy ending to this story…
BUY this book…it is well worth it!
