Wind and Shadow

Wind and Shadow (The Talbot Trilogy #1)Wind and Shadow by Tori L. Ridgewood
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I recieved a copy of this book for an honest review

Rayvin has experienced alot of heartbreak and trauma than most people her age. Its not easy to have an entire town assume she is a murderer when she is very innocent. Rayvin is a witch with barely controlled pwers. Her mother passed away when she was a very young girl and Rayvin's training stopped with her death.

It doesnt help that her vindictive ex-boy6friend is stalking her and forces her to move back to the place she swore she would never return to. He is an evil vampire who was accidentally set from from the magical prison they put him and and he is on teh hunt for his mate. He has been plans and has his eyes set on Rayvin.

rayvin is also reunited with her old high schol love interest, Grant, who is not the town cop who ends up pulling her over. It does not take them long to return their passion and attraction for each other.

It does bother me that he still believes that she killed his best friend when everyone else believes she is innocent.

The book leaves us with a huge cliff hanger on the edge of your seat and can't wait to pick up the next book.
