Review: The Face on the Milk Carton

The Face on the Milk Carton The Face on the Milk Carton by Caroline B. Cooney
My rating: 1 of 5 stars

I really really wanted to like this book. I have waited so long to read this... and finally I did.... and was so very disappointed.

there was enough meat and potatoes to make this book a good book, but sadly the author did not convey that.

it was just a drawn out story that got old real fast hearing the same thing over and over and having the main character complain about it.

the ending was even worse. you build this whole book up base on this specific plot like and than bam it ends with no explanation no nothing....

by far one of the worse books I have read in a while....

and I normally spend hours trying to not give a book 1 star......

don't waste your time.

a teenage girl sitting at lunch sees a picture of a 3 year old girl on a milk carton. she is missing. This girl thinks the 3 year old is her. Throughout the story she has flash backs of her mother, her sisters and brothers and little snip-its of her childhood.

she questions if this little girl is really her. Her parents do not have any baby pictures of her calming they did not have a camera at the time.

she had a happy childhood so she cant believe it....

until she goes up in the attach and finds the dress the little girl was wearing on the milk carton......
